I am!! My surgery is scheduled for 10 am on 4/3. I go to my last pre-op appointment tomorrow, and I guess I'll start my pre-op diet on Thursday. I have lived in SC for the past 2 1/2 years, but am originally from Ohio. Best of luck to you!! Stay in touch so that we can compare notes! It's nice to finally know of someone with the same surgery date!

Glad to meet you :). I go tomorrow for my pre-op testing for the surgery. I am lucky, I only have to do my clear liquid diet on the day before surgery. I can't believe it is all happening in about 2 weeks!!! Yes, definitely stay in touch!!

For your sake, I hope so too! Even though my surgery isn't until 10 am, I have to be there at 7. Yuck!! I know I'll be a nervous wreck while I wait! Best of luck, and stay in touch post op if you can!

Hi All... I'm on 4/3 also in Boston.. Did my pre-op testing last Thursday. My surgery is at 11 AM.

I'm getting so excited, and nervous!! I'm spending my weekend cleaning my house. I live alone, but will have many people in And out if needed. Are you all scheduled to stay in the hospital for 2 nights ? They say I should be out early Saturday afternoon..

I'm going to try and pop on while I'm in there. I'll look for all of you and say HI to our new lives ;)

Hi and welcome to the 4/3 club lol! I am staying in the hospital for 1 night. I am in NJ. I am getting very nervous! I know this is the best decision and I have been working a long time to get here, but I get these panic thoughts of "what the heck are you doing". April 3rd, just get here already!!

Hi Lynne! My surgery is at 10 am on Thursday. My surgeon says two nights, but I've heard of people just staying one night. Guess it'll depend on how I feel by then. I'm in SC. Best of luck to you, and please stay in touch!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
