No fill but restrictions

Hi: Has anyone else experienced what I am experiencing. I have not yet had a fill (April 24th) and today (4th time I have experienced this) I barfed because I took too large a bite and did not chew properly. I thought this only occurred when a person had some fill in the band. Doddie

I don't have a fill, but I do have restriction, it's working very nicely at the moment. I'm praying I'm going to be one of the lucky ones, who never needs a fill!

Hi Im one year post op and dont have any fill.I have good restriction. In November I got one fill just 1cc in my 10cc band and got stuck so badly that they have to unfill me plus do the upper Gstroscopy. As long as Im losing I dont want a fill:-)

Doddie I know what you mean. I have already had some "Sticky" situations without the fill. I think it is from eating too fast, not chewing enough, and taking bites that are too big. I figured it is just a none to gentle reminder that I have to change the way I eat. For me it is not restriction that did this just poor eating habits.

Thanks everyone. Glad to hear I am "normal". Yes, no question I have bad eating habits and I am trying hard to correct them. Sure hope the fill nurse knows how much to give me. I don't want to be barfing because I am too tight. I live to far away from TO. Doreen
