After fill

Just got a fill today (I am about 7cc) and I feel bad when trying to drink my protein shake. Does your stomach swell after a fill? Should I give it a day and see how I feel tomorrow?

I've never been told that the stomach swells after a fill but it makes sense that it would be a bit irritated. I do notice that, for me, I have to give it a few days after a fill because sometimes I feel really tight for a couple of days after the fill and then it settles and I'm fine.

Yes, the stoma can become irritated and inflamed for a few days. Sipping liquids is recommended at this time. No gulping.

Thanks that's what I thought just a little scared.

Also were you told to revert back to stage 2 diet and progress back to stage 5 over the following few days after a fill? Just a reminder as it allows the stomach to settle after the irritation of added constriction.
