Getting frustrated

This modified liquid diet is really getting to me. 2 weeks down and 10 days to go. I'm such a picky eater so that doesn't help. I've been living off Isopure protein drinks, popsicles, applesauce and runny mashed potato. I need some real food and fast! I know you all have been through this.

What can I do? I think after the 3 week post-op diet I graduate to mushies but I believe that is another 3 weeks! I don't know if I can survive that stage either!!

You were banded before me, but in my newbie opinion you are not geting enough protein. I drink a powder that I think is yummy and has 26 grams of protein and mix it soy milk which has 11 grams. I also have been drinking split pea soup, which after being thinned with soy milk has about 19 grams of protein. Do you have a magic bullit? Cream soups are very filling once after you spin them around a few times with milk to make them liquified. Applesauce and popsicles just are not filling enough. That is my 2 cents-good luck, I sure others have ideas too.

what about yogurt, cream of wheat, oatmeal, and most of all protein shakes.

You probably are getting enough protein if you drink 1 and 1/2 isopures a day

I've been living off of Isopure drinks, blended cream soups, and protein shakes for the past few days in my full liquid phase. Thank GOD I'll be done with that today...YAY for mushies!!!!!
