We all had to get a bunch of tests done during the pre-op stage. Due to my surgery date delays, I ended up having to repeat some of the tests because they had to be done within a certain time before surgery. ( 2 weeks - blood test & chest X-ray)

I would call back the Doc that wrote the order and clarify the timing on getting each specific test and how long the results are considered good for surgery and schedule them accordingly.

I had to do tests right away to make sure nothing was overtly wrong with me prior to being fully accepted into the program Im in. About three months in I had to do blood work again because they are trying to get my Vitamin levels up. I know I'll go again at the end of this month. I would ask your doctor if you are supposed to do them now or not. The last thing you want is for your process to be slowed because you waited and were supposed to get them done right away
