im thinking about going to a salvage yard for scrap metal where tehy have big scales for scrap and they weigh stuff pretty acurately because they are paying for that material seeing as my doctors scale is "broke" and bathroom scales go up or down at any lil movement or doesnt read me at all i think thats my best option ill pay em 5 bux to step on that thing and make a fool of myself :clap2: i need to get some sort of starting weight to monitor my progress

When I worked in a hospital, I used to weigh myself on the laundry scale. I wasn't as heavy back then. I just thought it was fun .

You can buy scales that go to 400 and even 500 lbs that are fairly reasonable (under $100) just do a search for bariatric scale or look on Amazon.com, I found some there.

I like your idea of going to the dump, though. I may try something like it. I don't want to shell the moola out right now for a home one. My ex would jump on a feed scale they had at the state surplus store whenever we would go. I noticed him out of the corner of my eye one time. I never said anything, but I knew why he did it and I applauded him for wanting to know where he was at weight wise.
