Increased Appetite

So I'm 3 months post op and I've lost 63 pounds so far. I'm am very pleased with my progress and I've started to exercise. I have been training for a 5k so I've started running on top of aerobics and weight lifting and I've noticed here lately that my appetite has increased. I was just wondering if this is normal??

Are you eating carbs? With me, carbs trigger cravings for more carbs. If that's not it, perhaps increased activity is making you hungry? Are you getting the protein you need?

I always get more hungry when I workout - its a natural reaction that your body is going through. When workout and get hungry I usually reach for a Protein shake and that helps with the hunger pains. If you need to snack have something healthy !

I stay away from carbs as much as possible. I get all my protein & vitamins in. I think it's bc I'm more active.
