As of today I'm 9lbs down I'm 5'3 surgery date 1/18 weigh in 233lbs. Having a hard time getting my water in and started getting a really nasty taste in my mouth, in the middle of the night started burping up some nasty liquid, not sure what to do? Got scared that something could be wrong with my sleeve.

Every thing come with time. I keep trying new things and finding not yet. I wanted a salad last night but it did not want me. I still find that the best for me is my protein drinks . I get my chocolate fix in and very satisfied. Do like I did if in doubt talk to your surgeon and wait. Do drink you water can not do water do ice chips and I also have SF ice pops . Put Crystal light in your water to give it taste but remember small sips do not drink and no straws . Good luck .

Are you on a PPI or antacids? Sounds like it could be reflux....especially the middle of the night thing. I'd let your surgeon know what's going on. As for the water, I had a hard time with plain water. Adding Dasani or Mio flavor drops, Vitamin water, propel zero and especially warm herbal tea and warm broth went down much easier.
