Hi. This does sound like trapped wind. Try lying flat and rubbing where it hurts and try to relax. I seem to constantly have wind eze lozenges in my pocket or in my mouth. I'm four weeks post op. I'm sure this passes in time. Peppermint tea or extra strong mints also really help.

I kept a box of Gas-X thin strips (the ones that melt on your tongue) in my car and at my desk for those times. Eventually the gas went away.

I had a pain that i was sure was kidney trouble after eating, about 3 months out. Started out after/during supper as a "stuck" feeling, too big of a bite, whatever you want to call it... but it settled into a bad left flank pain that i was sure was going to turn into kidney stones or some other horrible thing. Turned out to be nothing. Had my bloodwork done, no kidney issues, hasnt happened again.
