Hello

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone ever heard of the Dr in Alma Mi. that does the lap band procedure. A nurse told me about him and said her girl friend had him and really liked him but I dont know anything about him.

So I was wondering...............?????????? :help:

Hey,

Hi again! I think I'm starting to get the hang of this email thing. (I think)

Anyway thanks for the info it was pretty helpful. I just wish I could get in touch with some one who went to him.

I also wish I could get in touch with some one with lower BMI. Just to see what they had to do and what the process is.

So how is it going with you? Didn't I read you're all set and ready to go? I wish it were me!!! Iwish you luck!!! I'm excited for you. Just being as far as you are :clap2:

Well Ihave to go and feed my dumb cat before he drives me nuts. I'll be back later.

Eileen :)

Well, I started the process in January so it's been very, very quick. I just have the psych eval next Thursday and then I'll be done with all the testing. My surgery date is all set and I'm ready to start my new life!

Hello there! Here's a link to a whole thread dedicated to lower BMI Bandsters:

http://www.lapbandtalk.com/lower-bmi-bandsters-t26697.html?t=26697

LOL Red Green - Duct Tape-LOL Thanks for the link! since I am new to this you wouldn't happen to know of anyone that knows of a Dr. Cudjo in Alma Mi. would you? And I know its hard to find Drs to do the surgery if you have a lower BMI. (33) So in Mi. are there any that you know of? I was already told no by 2 and I told them I was only checking into it.

Again, thanks for the link.

Red Green! LoL

I do not know of any. But if you are a low BMI my guess is that you will be self pay. Therefore I would suggest you look into going to Denver to Dr. Kirshenbaum (I think that's the spelling) there's a whole thread here dedicated to him and his website is www.lapbandrockies.com

Another option is to go to Mexico, you'll find lots of threads about going to Mexico as well.

Or there is a Dr. Mark Pleatman in the West Bloomfield area who offers banding for $12450. I do not know what his BMI criteria is. His address is www.laparoscopy.com

I suspect at a very low BMI you might have to go to Mexico.

I wish you luck and look forward to hearing more about how you are coming along.

Well I Wrote A Quick Not To Dr K In Colo. Just For Some Info So We'll See What Happens. I Was Thinking Of Mexico But Im Starting To See Where Alot Of People Are Having Trouble Getting Fills. So It Makes Me Wonder If Down The Road It Might Get Harder And Harder Let Alone The Price Go Up.

So Thank You For Your Info And If You Find Out Any More Let Me Know And I'll Let You Know When And If I Hear Anything

Again Thanks
