What does pre-op consist of?

My surgery is January 16th and my pre-op is December 20th. Just curious to know what I'm in for. I remember them saying i'll see the anesthesiologist but not sure what else.

My pre-op was very uneventful. I went through a bunch of paperwork and had two blood draws. I did not meet with any Doctors. That was it. The largest part of the appointment was the wait to get called back! Good luck with everything.

Mine was meeting with my NUT to go over my pre op diet and I met with the surgeons asst to verify which surgery and gave me my RX for all my post surgery meds so I had them ready...including how to give myself the shots, and than a quick visit to the surgery center where they asked a lot of same questions we have answered a million times lol

Wow, ok..so, I guess I'll take my meds with me. I met with a pharmacist already to develop a liquid concoction of all my current meds for after surgery. Thanks to you all and good luck for your surgery and/or post-op losing! !
