Weight Loss Way Slowed At Week 7....normal?

Hello! Weeks 3-6 I lost 3 lbs. per week. Weeks 7 and 8 , a total of 1.5. Is this a normal time for a stall? Anyone else experienced this? I have been working out and may have a nibble here and there, but not enought to account for 1.5 lbs lost compared to a normal of 6 in two week time frame. Help!

It happened to a friend of mine. The advice she got from the surgeon was "back to basics." Focus on dense Protein, logging every bite, and no sliders. Being 3-4 months behind her, I benefited from all of her extra Protein drinks and yogurt that she had to get rid of.

I don't know if this helps or not, but that's the advice she got. I don't know why some people lose quickly, and for some every pound is a hard-won victory. But you are not alone.

I am 7 weeks tomorrow and going through the same thing! I'm going to up my protein and see if that does the trick. Keep us posted!

I was sleeved October 1 starting weight 260, now 224. I have been stucked for almost 2 weeks. I have read about this happen to people but I know I need to exercise more.

I am going through something similar. I'm losing 1.5 to 2lbs a week now, whereas it used to be 3 to 4 or even 4.5 lbs before.

Sleeved sept 27th.

I have been stalled for weeks now. .. but itches are coming off

Good to know we aren't alone! I will check my inches.
