Got my Date!

Well I got my date for surgery.. Dec 16th is the date... I am really not looking forward to the 2 weeks before surgery clear liquid diet... I have never had any type of surgery before and really don't know what to expect...

Can anyone recommend a good tasting low calorie protien drink that I am can drink for two weeks before my surgery??? I have been looking and want to try a few now to see if I like the taste.

good morning. I had my sleeve surgery 09/04/13. I was so sure that I was going to succeed this time (turned down previously by the ins co) that I started my diet one month earlier. I started protein drinks at least twice a day, no sweets, no carbs, etc. Then I did get my date and went into the office to consult with the physician and guess what, had lost 18 lbs. I was just told to keep up what I had been doing, with the exception of clear liquids two days before surgery. Worked for me.
