pre-op help

I'm still on my first week of my pre-op diet. Mainly liquids with one

low fat/carb meal. After I eat that one meal I get horrible pains in my stomach. Tonight I had 2 egg beaters and 1/2 of an english muffin. Soon after, my stomach gets horrible pains. What is this???

My guess would be just basic gas pain from suddenly having food following a day of liquids. Plus some of the SF or diet foods have artificial sweeteners in them that REALLY cause gas.

If it continues I would check with the Dr.

Sorry I can't be more helpful!
