I got my date today, within four hours. I was blessed to have such a caring team of people working my papers. Plus No two week diet! Yes....just clear liquids the day before. I'll find out what time I'm have surgery Monday when I go to the pre-op class.

Yes i am ready, i am currently on a 2 week liquid diet. How about you?

Nope....this surgeon doesn't require one, just the day before clear liquids. He didn't say to flush out, but I'm doing that anyway. I went a bought some hello out of the kosher section (don't eat pork and gelatin is pork) to eat throughout that day. I'm going to make it tomorrow.

My old surgeon had a 14 day diet though.

The 2 week preop is pretty hard, but im getting through it. Im not required to do any fasting though im allowed to have a shake a few hours before surgery. Im so looking forward to this new adventure
