One Year Post-Op Nausea/Slimies

Hi everyone!

I hit the one year mark 3 weeks ago :)

Last month I'd been awoken by severe nausea and violent dry heaving/slimies. It happened around 4am every morning like clockwork. This lasted a few days and I figured maybe it was just something I'd eaten.

It started up again yesterday. There hasn't been a change in my diet and my last meal is typically at 8pm. I have scheduled an appointment to see my doctor but it's not until next week and I can't seem to find answers.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

Have you tried taking acid reducers such as Prilosec? It could be a Gerd /reflux issue. The fact that this happens at night ( when you are lying flat) leads me to think that. Try sleeping eleavated on extra pillows or in a recliner for a couple of days to see if it doesn't improve.

Good luck , feel better!
