Carbs?

I was told to keep my diet low carb and low sugar.

But I'm wondering what is low enough? At least at this stage (2 weeks post op) ?

I'm finding some supplements online to replace having to drink a shake all the time, and some have 20 something, some have 12grams of carbs, some have 15, and some 2 or 3. How much is enough? How much is too much?

I've always tried to keep my daily level of net carbs(carbs - Fiber) to below 40 grams a day.

My surgeon has a goal of between 30 and 60 total (not net) carbs per day for six months out. Every surgeon seems to require something a little different!

I try and keep below 50 total (not net) carbs a day.
