4 days post op

I just had my sleeve on the 9th, I got out of hospital on the 11th. Still trying to work through the quirks, but would be happy to answer any questions

Hello,

Congrats :-). Describe the pain if any? Did you require a drain and catheter? Who was your surgeon? Where was your procedure performed? How do you feel now happy, relieved, etc?

Thanks:-)

The pain is sharp right on my breast bone, I had a hernia repair right below my breast bone, so that and where they pull the stomach out at hurts the worst. My left shoulder feels like I pulled it, but they say its trapped.gas, I keep ice on it.

I did not have a drain, thank goodness, my surgeon was Dr. Anwar and I was at st Francis hospital in federal way, WA.

It's slow going right now, I'm glad to be home, and I'm relieved the worst part is over, I had a hard time post op, so I had to stay an extra day, but I don't feel near as bad now, every day gets easier, I walk around a lot and I'm constantly taking small sipps of water and eating hello, both are soothing to me, and my body tells me and reminds me to take very small sips and very small bites, I have found there is a spot in my esophagas that is tight so, if its much going thru there it hurts until it gets past that spot, prolly due to where they fixed the hernia, other than that, I'm doing alright. Hope that helps you.

Thanks. I hope you have a speedy recovery :-)
