I am in the beginning stages of this process and was wondering if anyone has gone to Dr. John Angstad from NY Bariatric Group?

I have gone to NY bariatric group and seen Dr. Angstadt while I was in the hospital right after my surgery. I had Dr. Garber as my surgeon. All I can say is the whole group there are terrific! I go to the support groups at St. Charles with Dr. Angstadt he is great and very supportive. I have lost 34.5 pounds since April and now also going to a personalized gym which Dr. Angstadt also attends. Love the whole bunch..feeling great and happy...good luck in your journey. Highly recommend them.

Yes. He is my doctor too. The office is very nice. I will be sleeved October 29.

Best of luck with your surgery. How long did it take to get your surgery date?

Not very long. They scheduled me and then heard the ok from the insurance company about 5 business days later. I had a 6 month monthly weigh in to do for my insurance too.

I already did the 6 months weigh in with my own doctor. I have BCBS do you have the same?
