Manchester lapband

Hi

Having my surgery done by Dr David Ashton in Manchester along with two other surgeons [telemetric specialists] on 11th March. Started my pre-op this morning but as I love smoothies anyway it's no problem.

As you may have read in other posts I had the gastric balloon for 6 months end of 2005 to March 2006 and lost about 14 kilos which is about 30 lbs but have regained about 7 kilos [over 14lbs] at an alarming rate and think I'm going to end up heavier than when I started. Have been on and off diets for years but always eat fairly healthily all of the time but just keep gaining the weight.

Great to see a post specially for us UK bandsters.
