I had a fill and my Dr told me I was at my max with 3.5 cc is there anyone else out there who has had issues with the vanguard band (2006)

Unfortunately, there are many issues with the old 4cc bands. Doctors in the US have stopped using them entirely because of their high complication rate.

However, I'm not sure why he's saying a 4cc band can only hold 3.5cc. Is this based on fills under fluro?

I have a 4cc band, from 2007. It's my understanding that it can be in filled beyond 4cc. I've never had it filled higher than it is right now at 3.1. I do remember people being over 4cc in their 4cc band.

Is it dangerous to over fill or tightly (close to max level) fill a band? I have the newer band 10cc but I am always thinking about how close you can get to that number and not have a problem...just curious.

I have an 11cc band n have 10cc in it. I feel like I mostly rely on self control n not the band. Kind of afraid this will continue n I could have just dieted myself.

I have been hearing about the 4cc band and a lot of bandsters going to the sleeve because of it
