Any regrets?

I have just made the decision to be banded and would love to know if anyone has any regrets that they did it. What is the best thing about it and what it the worst?

Thanks,

Susan

Hi Heldie:

Glad to hear all went well with your surgery. Nice & comforting to hear, I get my band This Thusday. (Same Place)Can't wait to be done with this cottage cheese & yougart. This has been a little on the hard side .I just want some soup or something? Take care and rest but keep us posted as to how you are . All the best

Cheer up Rosi: When you have your clear broth, it will taste like the most savory thing you have ever had, then when you go into full fluids, oh the exquisite taste, but wait until the mushies, you will feel you have gone to heaven, it tastes so good. You are just starting a journey will hills and valleys and although I have only been going 6 weeks, it is a journey I am enjoying very much as I know I will no longer be carrying around 300 lbs. Doddie... thanks for the heads up on the stitch. All of my steri-strips have come off but one and that one is looking good so far.

Rosi... I have a real aversion to yoghurt and cottage cheese. I was told that if I can find foods that are equal or lower in fat and carbs I could have it... I looked at all the labels and found egg beaters and had those as well... you might want to ask the clinic yourself, but it worked for me!
