Preperation for the big day

Well my fiances LB surgery date is coming up soon, and i was wondering, is their anything she should be doing aside from starting her liquid diet, is their anything else she should be doing to prepare for the surgery?

And also, is their anything i could be doing to help her with preparing for the surgery.

For some reason i feel like im treating this like a pregnancy, like i need to have a plan for everything on her surgery day.. Pack some clothes in a bag, and leave it by the door, have the car keys on the cofee table.. lol

What a wonderful support you are! I'd suggest you check out a couple of threads on the main Forum board: the FAQ thread (has GREAT checklists for what to have on hand and to ask for from the surgeon), and the Pre and Post-op question thread.
