My hubby "so called" bought me a car. I say so called cuz once a relationship is over most spouse want what they bought or paid for back.

Hubby bought me a 2012 brand new jeep in 2012. He is making the monthly payment of 500.00 per month even though the agreement was 399.00 but he wants to pay it sooner & get it over with.

I asked him can he sign over the title to me & continue making the payment. He said no. The loan is under his name & he can't sign over the title for a car that isn't paid for yet. He has a lean on the car with the bank. He also mention signing the title over would make my insurance go up.

Thanks I just found out that's a closed case. He has to finish paying it off & if I want the title I have to get my own insurance company also.
