I think it is. I know of several men who've lost quicker.

I see some man who lost 100lb in one year i would love to do that but if i love 75 i will be happy.

In general it is true. The man's metabolism (especially on low carb diets, for whatever reason) and a few other factors lend themselves very well to weightloss.

Men often have more muscle mass than women (who tend to have more fat... better for making babies.) Muscle burns more fat. Though muscular women, I would imagine, would weight in amounts equal to that of a man.
