I am a few months away from my surgery, and I would love to have someone that I can run to with all my worries. I am 26 and would just love to have a friend who understands how hard this really is

I am 23 and I live in Greensboro and my surgery is next month on the 20th! I would love to chat with you guys!

Where are you both in your process? I just finished my three week food diary. On may 1st I go to my next nutrition appointment and exercise evaluation. After that we can submit to insurance and get a date. Technically I could probably get a may date, but since I'm a teacher I will need to wait until school is out in June. I'm anxious to have the surgery over with and begin this process.

I have completed everything and received approval from my insurance. I am just waiting on May 20th to have my surgery and it cannot get here fast enough.

I have completed 5 months of my 6 months worth of medically monitored diet (my insurance is a beast), and my psych evaluation, and my nutritionist meetings. In two weeks I go for my endoscopy and the following week I do my final diet meeting. Then hopefully I will approved and get my date. I am shooting for the end of June beginning of July. I guess you guys can tell me all about it! I am so excited for you both!

I'm doing ok. I'm on day 3 of my preop diet and its been a struggle at certain times. What about you, have you received a date yet?

Yes it is very exciting! I'm doing ok at times I'm extremely hungry and I've been craving a pbj since yesterday however I have not gave in. I'm having it done at Wesley Long hospital in Greensboro.
