Surgery date: May 14, 2013

Lost another pound today, only 1 more to go to reach surgery weight. 14th is so close and i am worried i haven't prepared enough , probably just nervous jitters. I am on my 13th straight day of work and still 2 more to go just trying to get them prepared for me being gone. I think I will become a nervous wreck :-). This long time dream is finally here. Good luck May buddies.

I have my surgery date... finally!!! May 30! Yay! I was hoping for the 23rd but they said my doctor had a complicated surgery that day that could take six plus hours so they didn't schedule anyone else.

Countdown now... :-)

Had surgery on 6 th may - feeling great and positive thoughts for the journey that is to come

Your welcome. Here you guys go. The website. They also sell the high protein bread. Don't know if I would actually buy the bread. Bread doesn't go down too easy after wls. Here's the website. Getting a little concerned. Surgery was Thursday and they still haven't been released. My oxygen levels are two low . Overall I'm doing good though. Just need to get the oxygen up and get home!

I started my liquid diet today. Surgery day is getting so close! Wednesday is the big day for my Lapband to RNY revision.

Getting a little concerned. Surgery was Thursday and they still haven't been released. My oxygen levels are two low . Overall I'm doing good though. Just need to get the oxygen up and get home!

I know when they were trying to get my oxygen levels up they had me cough because you open up your lungs and breath deeper when you cough.

Surgery Date: May 2, 2013 - Amount Lost: 25lbs

Went to get all my vitamins yesterday at the Vitamin Shoppe, I had looked online but it was so expensive. 2 sales people saw my list and immediately jumped in to help us. They had print-outs of approved items, notes from other bariatric customers. I got all my vitamins, a protein powder that tastes like ice tea with lemon to add to water. Plus they recommended a mouth spray for dry mouth during hospital stay. Some of my vitamins are made just for gastric bypass patients. Oh and he also recommended using a juicer to help get in your need veggies since the main focus is usually protein. Going local instead of online saved me $90 dollars and I got more than just vitamins, so I highly suggest going to a vitamin store if you can. They also had high protein peanut butter and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember :-)
