  1. I also had my surgery may 9th. I have only lost 16 lbs. had a stall the second week where I didn't lose anything for 6 days. Now I'm on another stall. My dr said it was normal Surgery: May 9, 2013
  2. Mami. You are an inspiration for me. I am 5' and my starting measurement were very similar to yours. I'm just 4 weeks post op and was starting to feel like I will never get there!!! Few questions for you... Did you lose weight fairly slow in comparison to others? I'm 4 weeks post op and have lost 15 What kind of exercise/ how often did you do? Are you still losing? One of my fears is if I keep losing when will it stop will I get too skinny? Surgery: May 9, 2013

  5. Yeah I keep trying to tell myself I can't control what other people eat but that only works so much. Plus I think if I was actually losing weight it might help a little too. Surgery: May 9, 2013
  6. Wow so glad I found this thread and that others are slow losers as well!!! It gets discouraging when I see all these people losing weight so fast!! I'm 2 1/2 weeks post op and have only lost 8 lbs. and that was all the first week! I am starting to actually get depressed Surgery: May 9, 2013
  7. Two and a half weeks post op, out of town with my fiancé who is normally supportive and tries not to eat the foods I am craving in front of me, but yesterday he ate pizza, today was donuts Mexican food and now a DQ BLIZZARD. I just want to cry . It's so hard and my mouth is watering. Then also I have only lost 9lbs in my 2 1/2 weeks so it feels like I'm being so good for nothing . This is so hard. Surgery: May 9, 2013
  8. I get in about 64 oz of water (flavored with fresh lemon). Then for food I typically am getting in 3 small meals and 1 snack. My snack is a protein shake. And example of one day of meals would be. Breakfast cottage cheese. Lunch. Greek yogurt. Dinner. Veggie burger. Surgery: May 9, 2013
  9. Anyone else from may not really losing weight? My surgery was may 9th. I lost 7 lbs the first week after surgery but now I have not lost anything in the last week. Feeling discouraged and like that's it im not going to lose anymore . Surgery: May 9, 2013
  10. I know the feeling. My surgery was just a few days after yours and I've only lost 7 lbs. I went for my follow up appt yesterday and the dr didn't seem to be worried. But I sure am. I lost the 7 the week after surgery and haven't lost since. Surgery: May 9, 2013
  11. I had a grilled veggie burger made by morning star and it was great. I'm only a week and a half post op. it was very easy to digest and tasted great Surgery: May 9, 2013
  12. Getting a little concerned. Surgery was Thursday and they still haven't been released. My oxygen levels are two low . Overall I'm doing good though. Just need to get the oxygen up and get home! Surgery: May 9, 2013
