35, married, 2 kids age 10 and 13. have lupus, pcos, fms, degenerative disc disease and other health issues. my main purpose for having surgery is to reduce my pain level. I also really want to be healthy as possible for me and my family. I am waiting for approval and expect an answer this comming week. i am on the Protein shake twice a day and small portion of lean meat and veg for dinner. i have 6 more lbs to go to get to my pre-opp requirement. i am home almost all day and can chat on here or where ever. I can't believe how crazy waiting for approval is making me. The have had it so long. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. I just want to know and move forward. I feel powerless and I wish I could do something to move things along. Good thing though, I found out that I can check the status of my referal Online through my account. So at least I can stop harrasing the insurance. It just stinks to have to see ''proccessing''. I'm driving myself crazy looking all Day. I just want this so bad and I want to get started. I have 3.4 lbs to go so of they call me I am so ready. I just need to stop stressing about it and let God take over. I know that He is in control and I just need to trust His timing.

the waiting for approval is the hardest part. It is hard on us not to have control and this is one area where we are at the mercy of the inusrance companies and the doc office. We do everything they ask us and we still wait. Wishing you the best and hoping you hear something very soon.
