I just arrived at the lucerna hotel in mexico...I looked at the cost for broth and almost had a heart attack...the price is $50.00...wow what to do???I am just not going to spend that on broth ....what did you guys do that stayed at the lucerna hotel???I am afraid to ask what water cost...a soda is don't have that kind of money to throw around....pls help.....

I actually went to Costco. It is a short walk from Dr. Ortiz office, but you can catch a cab, also. My husband and I bought juice and water there. At the Lucerna, order the chicken broth!! It is wonderful. And the jello is yummy, too.

Those prices are in pesos. It is only $5. I know because I didn't eat the whole time I was there only to find out later that the sign for pesos is also $.

The food there is really good. I ate when I came back for my first fill. Good margaritas too, but that is forbidden, of course
