Thyroid Disease And Rny

Am 4yrs out from a laproscopic RNY and down 178 pounds until January of 2012. I was getti g sick and Fter many tests, the Dr. Stated I have thyroid disease and my thyroid is not working any longer. So she gave meds and now for months I am gaining weight like crazy...is there anyone else out there with hypothyroidism who has gone thru this and can help me in getting this weight back off? It is terrible because all of the hard work I put In to getting the weight off of me is turning back around. HELP!!!!

sounds like you need to be sure you are on the right dose of thyroid meds. It takes a while to get regulated
