The Truth About Vitamin D

Lots of great information in this WebMD slide show. There is a considerable (and growing) amount of research being done on the benefits of Vitamin D including protection from some cancers, disease fighting properties, bone health, heart disease, muscle strength and more. Harvard is in the process of a study involving more than 20,000 subjects and has a wealth of information on this important and often under-rated vitamin.

Great slide! Vitamin D is something that most of us native oregonian's lack. It was never a real source of concern for the longest time and now dr's are starting to realize the importance of it. Especially with most of us not being outside as much as we used too.
