Diary

Bought a moleskin notebook yesterday. Putting things like questions for the surgeon/dietian, before and after photos, weights and food diary pre and post op. anybody else done this? I hope to look back on it and use it as my reminder of what I went through and perhaps help to keep me on the path.

Hi Tor

I haven't heard of this, but think it is a great idea! I have been thinking about starting a journal as well. Good luck with your surgery, do you have a date yet?

I have been doing this in a regular notebook since June of 2011. I write down everything, what I have eaten, how I feel, exercise, water, beverages, measurements, when i take my vits. I had my surgery 12-20-11 and this journaling has proven to be very helpful when I see the nurse, dietician, and doctor.

It has also been great for me to look back at and see my success and areas I need to improve upon. :)

Next time I think I will buy a nicer notebook.
