Now the waiting begins....

So, everything is submitted. (The doctor called back and I checked with the insurance.) Now, all I do is wait. The insurance coordinator has upped how many days it takes to hear back from 10 to 14 business days to 15 to 30 days. ARGH! Also, since October is booked, it looks like it will be November at the earliest. Taking a deep breath and waiting to see. Please tell me that this time just flew by for everyone.

DreamBig.. took 2 years.. wow!! DangerousD.. yes.. my time was really long.. I had to do the 6 months pre-op diet for my insurance then took an extra 2 months to get the surgery actually scheduled. Sorry the time didn't really fly by.. But I did take that time to get prepared. Read lots of post on this forum and got the foods ready that I would eat in the first few phases. I'll be really honest.. I had a couple of Good Bye items. I couldn't gain any weight during that time or my insureance wouldn't approve the surgery, so I didn't overdue it.. But shouldn't say this.. I did indulge just a tiny bit.. I was really looking forward to the procedure. Hang in there. your journey has begun.

I am also waiting. I have finished my pre-op appointments, and now am waiting to schedule a date. I have no idea how far out they are scheduling, but I hope to do this before thanksgiving. The pre-op stuff was spaced over two months, and the time FLEW by. I'm hoping the waiting now does also!
