Hello,

I have Harvard Pilgram...I am still pre-op..I have done all my classes/seminars & finished with th PT & Nutritionist & psyc.... had my endoscopy & all my blood work & so far everything has been paid for 100%..I started all this in March...I am to see my surgeon on the 9th (finally) and hopefully from there, Harvard Pilgram will pre-approve my surgery...I work in MA but live in Seabrook, NH so I am doing everything at Portsmouth Regional..

Thank you Beth! How was HP on covering it? I see 100% by some and other amounts by others

When i called them i was told that everything would be covered 100% but that i do have a copay of $1000 now i am unsure of how true or not that may be because my mother in law is also having the surgery done the week after me and she was told no copay but we both have the same exact insurance so honestly i am unsure about the copay but if it was to be true my insurance coordinator told me they would mail me the bill for it after surgery and i can choose a payment plan that best, i also no of a lady that had it done and she never got a bill for the $1000 but so far we've only had $25 copays for the surgeon's appointments and the psych other than that the $550 for the Nutrition Program Fee everyone having surgery through Brigham and Womens must pay that fee no insurance covers it so its out-of-pocket.
