Why? There's nothing you can do about it.

Here's a fairly recent thread on hair loss.

If you search hair loss in the search bar on the forum page you'll see many more.

Most people experience it in varying degrees 2-3 months out.

Hair loss is not just experienced with extreme weight loss, but can be worsened by stress, surgery, illness, and possibly anestisia. So there is an almost certain point you will experience it. Everyone focuses on protien, and it is extremely important - but genetics, your home environment, the vitamins you get, rest, the water you drink, it all plays a part.

When I started to lose my hair it hit fast, and it was signifigant (but I did have other issues, you can read my profile for more info). I kinda started to panic but I backed away and looked at it from a different angle. This whole hair thing is kinda a "tax" I am paying for being able to lose weight and keep it off.

So with that squared away, I went "where can I go and get a haircut from someone who knows how to deal with people losing their hair?" Sports Clips!!! No kidding. Went in talked to someone, wasn't comfy with that person but went to another one and talked to a young lady named Victoria and she has done my hair ever since.

Several months ago I even went with her aunt to her first VSG consultation, :)

She is having the surgery in the late fall, after she helps her daughter with her first grandbabies - twins!
