grrrrr i cant stop completely i have surgery tuesday and i had a cigarette today one yesterday my nerves are shot anyone else smoke b4 surgery

I smoked before surgery although not on the actual day - there were no complications during or after surgery - the anaesthetist will ask you if you smoke, be honest with them and there's no problem. I didn't smoke for a few days after the op but started again - doh!
