Syntrax Nectar

I've been researching and I'm finding a discrepancy in grams of protein per serving. The canisters say the same thing but when I compare the labels some have 6grams of protein and others have 25 grams per serving. Is some specially formulated for WLS patients? I was just trying to find the best price. What is the difference? Anyone know?

  • I got the sample pack and thought the fruit ones were disgusting. However, I read on their website that they formulated them to be eaten plain, like a pixie stick, and I'm LOVING them like this!

  • That is so weird!! Eat the powder plain? Sounds fun if you can do it. All the whey just tears up my stomach right now. Maybe in a few more weeks.

  • You're finding a discrepancy between the Syntrax nectar? I've tried all of the Syntrax Nectar flavors and I remember them all having about 23g of protein.

I love love love this stuff! I live on it! My favs are roadside lemonade and wild grape......helps me get Water in! Then sometimes I'll mix the chocolate truffle in with a vanilla muscle milk, banana for a nice 40 grams of Protein shake! I get mine from Amazon, and they have a program that saves you a few dollars if you get auto monthly delivery.

I think they break it down by 1/4 scoops so the caloric intake looks better........only 25 calories a serving! When yeah, most of us use an entire scoop and that makes it 100 calories lol......Marketing marketing........

I mixed mine with Water and even almond milk pre-op. But the type of Protein is whey and since that's what it is made of' date=' I just can't have it.[/quote']

Oh ok, I see now. I forgot about the whey. I love milk so I hope that doesn't happen but I will deal with what ever comes my way. It's the only option I have. :)

Lol. I didn't think about it that way. Your probably right though. I'm sure it has something to do with marketing. I'm going to order a sample pack soon so I know what my fav flavors are.
