Should I panick??

I caught the stomach flu this weekend. Long hell short I spent about 12hrs on the toilet puking or dry heaving into a can :speechles lovely I know! I am terrified I have slipped or destroyed the band. They told me not to puke and the dr did give me some suppositories....but had the runs so bad couln't even plug that hole for more than 10min :faint: :phanvan . So I am only on liquids of coarse today and everything seems okay...Just very worried:guess . Has anyone else ever had this happen? I go back to Dr on 1/17 and will have them check it under ultrasound. Just hoping someone had similar experience and was okay:rolleyes: .

Thanks!

The day after being banded i had a stomach bug...what a lovely experience. I called the doctor and after switching to a different anti-nausea med and having that not work she sent me to the er. Long story short i spent three days in the hospital but no damage was done to my band. thank god.

Turner, my advice would be to heck with the 17th. Get thee to thy doctor ASAP. Could be that there are no problems whatsoever, but then again.....well, you just should NOT take any chances.
