I have had about 3 fills now. I have a question. Does the saline slowly move out of the band and go back into the tube or port, causing us to need to get another fill or does the band keep the fluid in it and our stomach just stretches to make more room, thus causing us to need another fill? What happens that we need to be filled all the time?

Well, my wife had to go back 6 times for fills. Each time was a little more tight. Number 5 she had a little trouble getting the sip of water down, but eventually it went. And so did everything else after that. With number 6 she started getting the golfball sensation and she is still going with itfor now. It just takes time and you'll get there.

There's another thread on here that's very informative about fills. It says, basically, that as you lose weight, your stomach shrinks. And as it shrinks, you need another fill to keep the band tight.
