  • VA-yup, there is a group called Steady's LB if anyone wants to track. Even if it is sporadically. I am getting used to the site and I like it so far. I got your message and I think I added you.

LOL..Brandi..we all just love ya so much that even though I KNOW you are fine and can handle yourself, we want to pummel someone that looks at you sideways. We are such a strong group of gals and obviously so protective of each other. I am giggling because I know you are okay and we all just jumped all over the issue.

Steph is right though, some people don't get how much work it takes to lose the weight even with the band. I took like a 2 months vacation from all the hard work which is why my loss is not as profound. I am okay with that, but it is a big thing to realize just how much work it still is.

I know :-) I LOVE you ladies. I am just as defensive of all of you! I gotchyour backs! Just let me know when I need to throw down! I will be strappin' on the ass kickin' boots! You mess with one of us... you messed with ALL of us! haha

Booboo made me smile... she is such a doll.

thanks for being so wonderful -- ALL of you!

You've successfully defended my boobs' honor! ha

ROTFL...thanks...never thought I was defending the boobs...lol... ;) I was really upset and I can tell you my box was full of people who agreed with me!

hi sweethearts!

I went to support group last night, alot of wannabe's there, it was a good group. I did stress the fact that how fast you lose is how much work you put into it. There was a girl there that was banded 4 months ago and has only lost 17 lbs -she said she knew she wasn't eating right and needed the support group to get back on track. Then there are others who've lost 50 lbs in the past 4 months. Theres a guy there who's been banded a year without a fill and almost to goal, then theres me whos had 7 fills. It was a good group.

I love all ya, we're so funny, total loyalty. Have a great day lovely ladies.

OH and I'm down another pound this morning - 177 on the digital beast! Thats 173 on old faithful. I got weighed at the meeting last night (its held in the dr's office) and I was 178 - so yeah I gots me a smile on my face today. ;)

bman, so sorry about that bra comment! when i read that my jaw dropped! Whatever was meant by that comment? bad wording i suppose. You and your girls look amazing!

So my girls weekend to Chech Republic is cancelled, oh well.

Ok Brandi- about these pumpkin reeses, why do i not know about these delicious sounding treats? Man, sometimes I miss out on all the best things living in Europe! Maybe that's a good thing. I was salivating at the mouth when i read about pumpkin reeses. Can you tell I am sugar deprived!

Steph-wow! your looking like a skinny girl! isn't it crazy.

Boo Boo- YOu look like a completely different person than you did in your befores! I bet you feel like a million dollars!

ok, so i am still SBing it! day 3 without cheating. haven't stepped on the scale yet , i'm waiting till friday to do that. I hope it's down at least 5.

Just popping in to say HI. I'm having my morning latte, which lasts me through lunch. I'll eat tuna pack w/crackers at about 1:30 and drink some water. Dinner I'll probably have another buffalo chicken whip (thanks Kaydoll for mentioning that!). I whip it chunky and sprinkle bleu cheese on top.

Holding strong at 222.5, which is bullshit. I need to put the scale away until the end of the month when I will undoubtedly bust strong into the 2-teens.

Oh, NSV. I went to the drivethrough Beaners, but the line was too long so I got my can out of the car and went inside! Last year at this time I would have waited in the line, pissed because they were going so slowly!

NSV2 - I am wearing a pair of Jones New York olive green, side zip, no-waist pants that I have never worn before! They have always been too tight (and were tooooo small when I bought them!). My sz 14 jacket is baggy on me, too! I am feeling kinda good today, mommas!

I didn't exercise last night, so I am bound and determined to hit it hard tonight. I'm sure that's why the blasted scale isn't cooperating.

Not in the mood to be at work today, I can tell you that. Not in the mood for meetings or being politically nice to people. I hate everybody. Seriously. EVERYBODY.

Just popping in to say... UGH. What a day. Is it time to go home yet? I am tired of filing! work stinks...

Exercise: I did my weights all weekend. I've been on my elliptical both monday and tuesday... last night was for a full 40 minutes instead of my usual 30min. -- i am back in the groove with THAT. I've also been weight training every single night and walking for 45-60 minutes (about 3 miles). Had to go back to the 5lbs weights at first. (cuz i slack off for awhile) Last night I increased back to the 10lbs. weights!

**Note: despite all of this... scale still not moving.

Spoke to my lawyer today... he said he talked to the Deputy Prosecutor... and that the gentleman is supposed to call him back today. My lawyer believes he will be quite "willing" to "make this all go away" and to avoid the mess that they are about to get themselves into.

I will find out the details tomorrow. (keep your fingers crossed)

sweethot - thanks sweetie - I have my good days and my bad days, today is a good day.

I saw an old friend today, I haven't seen her since June and she said omg Steph you look great! I said well I've probably lost another 10 - 15 lbs since I saw you last and she said its not just that, you look great your hair, your face, everything! She knows I had the surgery and that I've been losing weight but I've been getting that alot lately. It seems these last few pounds are making more of a difference then the first 50! :) People always comment on the hair and truthfully I hate my hair right now, everyday I think I need a new cut. I just think its funny. OK OK ... I love it.

Nat - you don't really hate everyone. You fuggin nut!

Bman - we're all crossing our fingers for you. Its all going to turn out ok.

Face the truth Steph - I'm too tight.

I haven't eaten anything all day, except for 2 saltines, so I'm scrounging around the kitchen and I find some beef tenderloin from the dinner we had here (at the club) on Saturday. I eat one slice, not thick slice, maybe 2-3 oz, cut into tiny little peices, chewed very well, savoring each bite. Thought that the last 2 bites should have been eliminated - yep they were eliminated. I hate pb'ing!!! I must be too tight. What do you think? Too tight or bad food choice?

Bman - good for you with the exercise - I've quit walking in the morning, its too darn dark. My evening walks are not consistant, still doing at least 2 miles every other night or so. I wish I could push myself to do weights and sit-ups. UGH!

Steph, Ive been meaning to ask forever... is that your eye?

Yes, I hated everybody today. Had my office door closed and gave everyone who came in short answers. I finally vented to one of the other leaders of this project, and told him why I was pissed, and he apologized for not listening earlier. I don't know if he was placating me or not, but *shrug* Whatever. I'm not happy about things now but you know what? I don't give a fuuuuuuuggggg. Its not my failure, I've documented, and I'm in my skinny pants today!

B'man - I need to catch up. What's this about legal trouble?

Sweethot - sorry your trip is canceled, but way to hang tough on SB! For me the first 2 or 3 days is the hardest.

BBK: I'm glad "BooBooTitty" makes you laugh. As you were lamenting the downsizing of your girls, I called you "BooHooTitty" and laughed even harder. I'm glad you didn't take offense. I'm just full of jealousy cuz I ain't got no titties. Maybe I need to do like B'man and get me a good bra! HAHAHAHHAHAH!

I need a new haircut.

My team had a Happy Boss' Day card on my desk this morning. I felt loved.

Steph, the guy (you know the one) has been smiling at me today. I know it's because I'm lookin' sessy and hawt! It's my pleasure to ignore him, as he is worthy of neither my affection nor my attention.

More later, I'm sure. I am going to wash my hair tonight and come to work in curls tomorrow! Ooooh. Curls!

Nat

Heya Chickies!

I am rocking this fill! I love it. I have not felt this fantastic in months. I am wearing things in my closet that were sausage tight last week. WOW! I have a spring in my step and feel gorgeous...who the hell do I think I am? My mom asked me today when I became such a primma donna since I am now loving putting on hot shoes and cute clothes. HA! I told her it feels so good to feel attractive. I am FAR from skinny but feel so much better than I ever did back when I was "normal" weight. The confidence I have really makes a huge difference.

I am EXHAUSTED today. I was on my feet all day and cannot even bear the thought of working out. Shame shame. I will rest tonight and kick it at the gym tomorrow. I am allowed to be easy on myself and take a day off, right?

Nat-I can relate to the hating everyone. I was talking to a classmate the other day about that very thing. I feel like I could rip someone's face off. It is totally not me! I am usually very pleasant but lately I am wicked short tempered. I think we have all been together so long and winding down to graduation and I am just burnt of it all. I am trying really hard to keep my manners but it has been tough! Hang in there yourself. Rock those skinny pants and size 14 (WOW) jacket. You are one hot momma.

Steph-Maybe you are too tight. What kind of calories are you getting in on a daily basis? It is tough, because losing feels so good and almost worth not eating, but you know we can't maintain that lack of nutrition for long. Keep an eye on your cals for a few days and see what is what.

Congrats on going to the meeting last night. Sounds like you got something out of it!

B-man-way to go on the weights. I am thinking of you with the whole deputy thing...I hope it all works out okay! Keep updating us.

Sweet-sorry to hear about the girls weekend. What happened? Hopefully you can reorganize it soon. Way to go on the SB! Work it. I have resigned myself to the fact that I suck at it! haha. I am proud of you for sticking it out. It is tough but totally worth it.

I think I have a major scale problem. I am on and off the thing multiple times a day. With clothes, without them, after I eat, when I first wake up...wtf...I need to cut this crap out. I am seriously thinking about having DH hide the darn thing! Anyone else have this problem???

Hide the scale! Hide that dirty beyatch!

I am on it every morning after my first pee pee. Then I step on it 3x to take the average of the weights, or until the lowest comes up again, shifting my weight and standing differently so that the low weight appears. THEN I subtract 4 pounds, cuz my doctor's scale is 4 pounds lighter than mine at home. (laugh)

I'm caught up in this insanity every morning.

I just locked my scale in the outdoor storage unit. I threw it up on the top shelf on some boxes, so it'll be a hassle to get it out. And I promise myself not to weigh again until November 14. THat is going to be SO HARD! But I bet you I'll be at least 10 pounds lighter by then!

GO NAT!

Okay - going to eat some yogurt for dinner, and drink another quart of water. Then I'm going to pump out an hour on the elliptical.

I think I've had 300 calories today. Not good, is it. Okay, I'll eat two yogurts. HA!
