Dr. Alvarez, Mexico

Looking for people who had Dr. Guillermo Alvarez in Mexico and how their lap band surgery went? I am a self-pay and looks like Mexico is the way to go for me. Any info would be helpful. I also have a husband who is not very keen on the Mexico idea.:)

Have you found out anything about Dr. Alvarez? I am scheduled to have the band done by him in late March. I am also self-pay, and am wondering about some of the things I have been reading online about his staff quoting different prices. Good luck with your band. Marcie
