Congrats! I'm currently scheduled for the 24th as well, so we can have a virtual "birthday" together!

I'm with ya! We'll be rocking our sleeves and those halls! As far as the diet goes, I was a little hungry the first two days, but then it seemed to settle in a bit. I just drank some iced tea or so

Hi all!
I finally was given a date this morning and while it is weeks later than I was hoping, at least I know it is scheduled! Full disclosure - I was born without the patience gene, it's quite a disability
. I had my initial consult on 5/31 and completed the last of my requirements yesterday morning. The only thing that's outstanding is my lab results. I almost got a June 26 date, but there wasn't an open endoscopy appointment that was a full week before, so I couldn't take it and got stuck with July 24 instead. (I am seriously crossing my fingers and toes for a cancellation!) Did I mention waiting was not my strong suit?? I know it sounds fast to make such a life changing decision, but I considered bypass several years ago, and the difference between how I felt about it then and how I feel about the sleeve now is really reassuring and I know that I've made the right decision for me. Once I've made a decision, I want things done, like, yesterday!
Anyway, glad to join the ranks of all of you July Sleevers! Hope everyone's wait, procedure, recovery, and weight loss goes wonderfully!
