isolate

Hi all, I was wondering something. My surgeon says he only wants me to have protein supplements (drinks, powders, shakes ect..) that have whey protein ISOLATE in the ingredients. But I've noticed that a lot of them just say whey protein. Is there a big difference between the two?

Thanks for any replys. My surg date is in july.

The label on the Protein supplement should make it clear if it's protein isolate or not.

Here is a list of protein supplements specifically with isolates in them: http://www.iherb.com/search?kw=protein%20isolate#p=1

Hope it helps!

Lots of protein info on unjury website. Its still one of my favorites.

Well for instance, I'm not allowed to have Atkins, premiere, muscle milk, stuff like that, because he says it does not have the protein "isolate" in it so I'm wondering what is the difference??

I don't know the difference. :/ I just for protein powder that's tasty and high in protein.

Yes, I ordered some unjury chicken soup. I hear that's a good one.
