Metlife short term disability

Wondering if anyone else has had problems with them like I have getting my disability approved. I was approved 1st 2 weeks but it's taking an act of Congress to get the next 2 weeks approved.

    Can you explain this process with filling a claim with Metlife short term disability and let me know how did yours turn out?

    Thinking about filling one with my disability carrier combined life, and I'm not sure if bariatrics is covered.

    I have Metlife for STD and will be getting band to sleeve in a few weeks and hoping to use STD while out of work. Can you tell me what the outcome was and if you were eventually approved?
