For about a few weeks the scale has been fluctuating 2 to 3 pounds up and down. I'm doing every thing right, exercising and all. I also started weightlifting and I'm wondering if I'm gaining muscle. Any other suggestions as to why I'm not losing? Helppp

Just a couple of notes on lifting; for muscle to repair itself after heavy resistance training it will store Water (among other things) and you may after a few weeks see a slight gain due to the fact that while pound for pound muscle and fat obviously weigh the same, muscle takes up less volume in the body than fat (that's one reason why 2 people that weigh 150 lbs can look vastly different in size).

Just my 2 cents, keep lifting!!! Give it a few months, your body will slowly change and then suddenly the weight will start falling off and dramatic results are often seen!!

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
