Suggestions on reasonable protein chips or snacks

Does anyone have any suggestions on a tasty alternative to Doritos or potato chips? I have found high protein ranch and nacho flavored protein chips but the cost was prohibitive. I was wondering if anyone has found some inexpensive ones?

I have heard that kale chips are yummy. There are recipes online on how to make your own too!

I just made Kale chips for the first time today and they are excellent. Picked and ripped off about 2-inch sections of Kale leaf, tossed them in a bag with a tablespoon of olive oil and some salt, and put on a baking sheet. Cooked for 30 minutes at 300, turning once. Really, they're not bad. I already made a second batch with a little parmesan.

Also good is Kims Magic Pop / Kims Deli Pop.
