It is two-fold...our new stomachs just don't have room for both AND, the liquid does mix with the food and you digest it quicker.

Ok, so I know the whole "don't drink anything for at least 30 min. After eating" is applicable to lapband folks, but why is it a rule for sleevers? I mean, your not washing the food down any faster into the intestine are you?????
