Deleting Notifications ?

Can someone please tell me how to delete notifications. Also, when I click on a notification -- I do not see any text -- all I see is the person's profile ??

    WeeWers, I do not know how to delete either. I have been trying on my own to figure it out but I am not successful. Sorry I cannot help. Take care, Cheryl

    3. Adjust your preference.
