Blender/fodd processor

I am scheduled for my sleeve July 2.... I am trying to think ahead and prepare. I need a blender/food processor combo to make smoothies, protein shakes, and purée food. Any recommendations on a good one that's reasonably priced??

Oopps..... Food****

I bought this little gem and have loved it, plus it comes in a ton of cute colors (highly important, of couse). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WIZ976/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Magic Bullet works well for everything :)

I purchased a ninja...and boy oh boy is it great! I was in wal-mart during the holiday and was positioned to buy a magic bullet but these two people stopped me and said the ninja was so much more worth it...and they were right

What do you consider reasonable? You can't go wrong with a Ninja for something in the $100-$150 range.

Thanks guys!! I was thinking under 100 but I am going to check out your recommendations!! I have learned too many times you get what you pay for... So, I'm thinking the $40 blender/processor combo I saw at Walmart is probably a cheapo! Lol

as I stated it was during the holiday season and my ninja was $40.00....i was purchasing items for my surgery a year in advance...but that's just me

Just ordered a ninja... Found the ninja Pro prep for $48 shipped at Home Depot ( with a coupon code!) I'm excited.... Now I need good recipes for smoothies, soups, etc.
